Survey done by Betty West-Tiedman and Nell West
Take Rt. 83 from Grundy, VA east toward the WV state line. Turn left on Rd. 643 toward Hurley. Turn Right on rd. 653 to Coon Branch. Follow the road until it ends, at the very top of the mountain past the Harland Blankenship cemetery. Suggest using a 4x4. The road is very narrow and steep, and becomes rutted the higher you travel up the mountain. Names appear as they are on the headstones. FS: stands for footstone.
